UERU Town Hall
The State of Student Wellbeing: Navigating Pressure, Belonging, and AI on Campus
Tuesday, August 11, 2026 | 1:00pm ET | Virtual Town Hall
The Coalition for Student Wellbeing (C4SW, Carson Domey, Executive Director), LearningWell Coalition (Angela Lindner, Executive Director), and UERU invite you to a one-hour town hall on August 11 at 1:00 pm EST designed to explore student wellbeing ahead of the new academic year.
Three C4SW undergraduate students will share firsthand perspectives on anxiety, economic uncertainty, social isolation, and questions of belonging shaping their respective higher education journeys, offering leaders a window into how students experience these pressures.
We will also address the growing role of artificial intelligence on campus, from questions of academic integrity to students turning to AI tools for mental health support in place of university resources. Few topics are timelier than the impact of A.I. on the student experience.
Building on C4SW and UERU's inaugural August 2025 town hall, the 2026 edition is designed for academic as well as student affairs leaders, indeed, for all UERU members looking to enter the fall term with a clearer, student-informed understanding of their students’ wellness needs.
